Picture Day Check In Process

STREAMLINED CHECK-IN PROCESS

We’ve streamlined our data matching system, making the process quicker and more efficient.

Check-In Procedure

When students and staff arrive, a photo assistant will ask for their first and last name, locate them in the system, and capture a reference picture with an SGP Tablet. This reference image links to the subject's name on record, ensuring the correct photos are associated with the student or staff galleries.

Tokens for Verification

After check-in, each subject (excluding Pre-K or younger) receives a half-dollar-sized token to indicate a successful check-in. Photographers accept the token and start taking photos. Anyone without a token is sent to the tablet operator for check-in.

Key Reminders

  • Check in every subject, including students, staff, and others.
  • Always ask for FIRST and LAST name. Some names sound alike, and this will avoid associating with the incorrect gallery.
  • Provide a token to each subject to indicate successful check-in.
  • For safety reasons, DO NOT give tokens to Pre-K and younger subjects.
  • If a subject is not found in the roster, seek assistance from the Lead Photographer or Assistant to fill in the information manually.
